My name is Ragnhild Hjelmborg and I'm originally from Denmark. I have years of experience within a variety of musical styles. At the age of 4, I started playing the piano, at 7 years of age I took up playing the flute, while all my childhood playing in ensembles and singing in a lot of choirs. My parents are both professional classical musicians, and my grandfather was composer and professor at the Royal Conservatory of Copenhagen, so you could say that music runs through my veins.
Over the years I've participated in lots of concerts and masses, playing and singing, and I also teached piano while living in Copenhagen. Recently I have attended studies as an organist at Sjællands Kirkemusikskole, while continuously studying composition and music theory. Notation and music theory are essential parts of my abilities. Without these elements, I couldn't express myself this freely.
I started writing musical themes for piano, flute and even songs early on, and since the teenage years, I've written numerous songs with lyrics in English, Spanish and Danish. For years now I've also recorded and produced my music in my own studio. At first I just wanted to record my songs but as I got to know the digital music production more and more, it began interesting me a lot because of the satisfaction that I feel being able to translate my ideas directly to the outside world. Composing complete works with interesting instrumentation has never been more flexible than today.
I have also dedicated years of my youth to learning video and photography while making short films and music videos that I have displayed in various festivals and competitions. Imaging and sound will always interest me, which is the reason for my services offered here in this page.
